It won't be Christ plus any program, treatment center or support group, but Christ can and does work through such programs if they will teach us who we are in Christ, how to walk by faith and rely on Him." At CWCM we know that all needs are met in Jesus Christ, "According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue" (2 Peter 1:3). Not only has God given us all that we need to live a full life but He has also made every provision for us to live for Him!
The TARRY Support Group curriculum can be administered individually or in TSG meetings. The curriculum consists of daily reading material, homework and best practices. TSG was designed to be used along with individual counseling sessions. The curriculum requires a minimum commitment of 12 months. Participants must be serious about completing all training material readings and assignments.
The 12 lessons are titled:
Lesson One.........Need to trust in the Lord
Lesson Two..........Admit your struggles
Lesson Three...…Jesus died as our substitute and we are now justified
Lesson Four.........Jesus died as our substitute and we are redeemed, forgiven, washed
Lesson Five..........Jesus died as our representative so we are identified with Him
Lesson Six.........…Yield
Lesson Seven...…Who do you yield your life too?
Lesson Eight........Christians are freed from the law
Lesson Nine.........The purpose of the law (Ten Commandments)
Lesson Ten...........The sinful nature (flesh/indwelling sin) remains in the believer
Lesson Eleven......The new nature delights in the law of God
Lesson Twelve......The Holy Spirit empowers the believers new life
